All About Me
My name is Janna Mordan Osborne
I am married to Jeremy Osborne. He is a writer and has been blogging much longer than I have.
I work as an Admin at a biotech startup in the Silicon Valley.
I like to sing jazz and a cappella.
I cook. My husband likes to eat what I cook. Unless it has wheat in it. He’s gluten-intolerant. If I cook with wheat I usually bring it to the office to fatten up my coworkers. I like to cook with organic, local, and whole foods wherever possible, and I’m always looking for new ways to prepare the vegetables we get every week from our local CSA, Two Small Farms.
I also am dabbling in graphic design, learning to code html and css, and am currently fascinated with (and a little frightened by) Adobe Illustrator.
If you try any of my recipes, or if you just have something to say, please comment! It’s always a great to know that there are real people out there reading what I write.
The green pattern on the sides was free from Squidfingers, although I changed the colors. The bamboo graphic was part of a set of free photoshop brushes from Design Fruit. All graphic editing was done by me using the Gimp, a really great piece of open source software similar to Adobe Photoshop, only free.
Except where otherwise noted, the pictures are taken by me, with a Fujifilm Finepix F50SE. It’s a fantastic, easy to use little point and shoot. One day I may upgrade to a digital SLR with interchangeable lenses, but for now, this is a great camera without breaking the bank.
If you’d like to contact me directly, I can be reached at jannamordan at yahoo dot com.
